Hi. I’m Hannah, a Melbourne-based career coach and strategist, Founder and Director of Small Circle and mum of two.

After having children, like many women, I found my feelings towards work had changed. Although my values remained steadfast, my priorities shifted exponentially. 

I established Small Circle as a way of bringing my passions and experience together and making sure at the end of each day I could say with integrity I had fulfilled my calling (dharma), hopefully leaving people and places a little brighter, and a lot more purposeful, than when I arrived.

I started my career in politics and reputation management, before shifting my focus to organisational culture and employee engagement, and subsequently establishing Small Circle.

Small Circle offers a range of services including coaching and CVs, tailored to the needs of modern professionals, predominantly women. Whether clients seek to find more reward in their current role, explore new opportunities, or navigate career transitions, I provide personalised support and guidance through my coaching programs and expertise. My focus on building confidence, clarity, and excitement empowers clients to achieve their full potential.

I have coached hundreds of clients at all stages of their career, from emerging to mid-professionals through to the C-suite, and is experienced in working with clients in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. 

My credentials:

  • LLB (Hons) Law Degree and Post-Graduate Diploma in Professional and Legal Skills.

  • Almost 20 years’ industry experience in two Parliaments, the Government sector, not-for-profits and corporate organisations, using words to win hearts and minds and change the world. Even a little.

  • Professional development in speech writing, senior executive media skills, political marketing, change communication and management development.

  • 300 hours yoga teacher training (hatha, yin, pre- and post-natal) with some of Melbourne’s most senior trainers.

  • Certified Life Coach recognised by the International Coach Federation at the Accredited Coach Training Program level.

  • Board member and President of the School Council.
